Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Unfair CPA collects when you use unfaircpa.com and the Unfair CPA product, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. "We," "us," and "Unfair CPA" refer to the operator of this site and product.
Information we collect
- Information you provide — your name, work email, company, and anything you enter into a form such as Request access, or into the product itself.
- Sign in with Google — if you create or access an account using Google, we receive your name, email address, and basic profile information from your Google account to authenticate you and set up your account. We request only your basic profile and email — we do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or other Google data.
- Product data — for customers, the financial, accounting, and transaction data you connect so the product can keep your books. This data is yours; we process it to provide the service.
- Usage and device data — standard log and analytics data (pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device type, IP address) used to keep the site and product secure and to improve them.
How we use information
To create and authenticate your account, provide and improve the product, respond to your requests, communicate with you about the service, keep accounts and data secure, and meet legal and regulatory obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Google user data
Unfair CPA's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use the information we receive from Google sign-in only to authenticate you and operate your account. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or transfer it to others except as needed to provide the service or as required by law.
How we share information
- Service providers — vetted infrastructure providers that host, secure, and operate the service on our behalf (for example, our cloud hosting and database providers), under contracts that require them to protect your information.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we protect information
The product is built as a system of record: strict per-tenant isolation, field-level encryption for sensitive identifiers, encryption in transit and at rest, and a complete, immutable audit trail. Access to data is limited to what is needed to run the service.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, and afterward only as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can ask us to delete your information as described below.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and you can disconnect Google sign-in from your account, subject to legal and contractual limits. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. To make a request, contact [email protected].
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site and product are used so we can improve them. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Children
Unfair CPA is a business product intended for use by adults on behalf of a business. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Your continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
